How To Apply
Prospective students are encouraged to visit College on the main Open Evening, usually held each November, when there is an opportunity to view the facilities and resources, meet subject and pastoral tutors, talk to current students and get advice about courses on offer and personal study programmes.
If you are currently studying at Rastrick High School
- Request a post 16 interview – this is an opportunity to discuss your future with an experienced tutor
- Admission to the College is by completion of the electronic Common Application Form (CAF)
- Successful students who are offered a place must confirm their acceptance before the end of April
- All students who have received a formal offer are invited to an Induction Day in June
- After GCSE results have been announced, prospective students attend a personal interview to ensure their chosen programme of study is appropriate.
If you are studying at another Calderdale school
- Admission to the College is by completion of the electronic Common Application Form (CAF)
- All external applicants have to attend an interview in College
- References are then requested from the applicant’s current school
- Formal offers to join the College are made during March
- Successful students who are offered a place must confirm their acceptance before the end of April
- All students who have received a formal offer are invited to an Induction Day in June
