Sixth Form
At Rastrick Sixth Form College we recognise our main aim is to enable students to achieve their full potential both academically and in their wider personal development. We provide a mature and friendly environment where students are given freedom to take responsibility for their own learning whilst knowing they are supported by a caring team who want to see them achieve their very best.
Students are helped and encouraged to choose courses in which they will succeed whilst also ensuring their choices match with their university and career ambitions. Once students have chosen their programme of studies, they are set realistic but challenging academic targets and are monitored closely. When necessary, additional support is always available to ensure targets are met.
We believe students achieve both academically and personally, because we have:
