The majority of students do come from Rastrick High School but there are a significant number of students who join from other schools and Colleges.

I have a disability, should I apply to the College?
The College has a clear commitment to inclusion for students with disabilities or Special Educational Needs. The College will make all reasonable attempts to provide any specialist support required and this is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure all needs continue to be met.

Students have to state their initial subject choices on the application form but these can be changed later if necessary.

Are student reports issued?
The short answer is yes, but students are also encouraged to monitor their own progress. Meetings with Personal and Academic Tutors help students set relevant targets and enable them to focus on the areas they need to improve and to plan strategies that will help them achieve their potential.

All AS and A2 exams are modular; the main external exams are held in May/June but some modules, in certain subjects, are also examined in January. Click here for current exam dates.

College students are not expected to wear a uniform. However, they are required to dress appropriately for a professional working environment (it is not considered appropriate to wear either revealing clothes or clothes with slogans which may cause offence to others).

Where can I go when I am not working?
Students have use of a Common Room and a Deli which serves food and drinks throughout the day.
