7th June – 2nd July – What are we offering?

To support you on your next steps, in line with government guidance, we will be providing a package of work for Y11 students to access remotely between June 7th and July 2nd.

Please see the below timetable which provides you with the opportunity to experience a range of subjects you may be thinking of continuing in your further studies. These include both traditional A level subjects, such as Biology, History, English Literature and some vocational qualifications such as Health & Social Care and ICT.  We have also included sessions covering everyday English and Maths.

We have also included sessions on Careers and Health & Wellbeing, should you require further guidance and support in these areas.

How will the work be delivered?

Resources for each session will be uploaded onto a Y11 Subject Channel on Microsoft Teams once a week (this will equate to around 3 hours of classwork).  This work is to be completed independently.

The timetable shows you when a member of staff will be available on Microsoft Teams to offer, support and guidance, using the chat or audio function.

There is no requirement to submit work, and staff will only be providing verbal feedback where appropriate.

Although the work is not compulsory and will have no impact on your CAG grades, we strongly encourage students to engage with the resources provided, as we believe they will help to support you as you take your next steps in your journey moving beyond Rastrick High School.

If you need any IT support accessing the resources, please let the Year Team know asap.
